Abstract

Biometrics is employed for authentication purpose. Among the assorted styles of biometry, fingerprint is that the most generally accepted biometry. Biometric systems have many blessings when put next to classical strategies like passwords. Biometric system is susceptible to varied styles of attacks. This paper proposes a technique to avoid the device level attack. This technique uses restricted ring wedge spectral energy, Inhomogenity and Directional distinction.
